Peque Gallaga was a prominent Filipino film director, known for his works such as "Oro, Plata, Mata" and "Scorpio Nights". He was also a screenwriter, producer, and actor. He was regarded as one of the visionaries of Philippine cinema and was recognized with numerous awards for his contributions. Gallaga passed away on May 7, 2020, at the age of 76.
