Pernell Roberts was an American actor, best known for his portrayal of Adam Cartwright on the television series Bonanza and Dr. John McIntyre on Trapper John, M.D. He also appeared in various films and stage productions throughout his career. Roberts passed away in 2010 at the age of 81.
