Pete Townshend

Pete Townshend is a legendary British musician and guitarist. He rose to fame as a member of the rock band The Who, which he co-founded in 1964. Townshend is known for his distinctive guitar playing style and his songwriting skills, having penned many of The Who's biggest hits, including "My Generation" and "Won't Get Fooled Again". He is also credited with inventing the rock opera, with the release of The Who's iconic album "Tommy" in 1969. Townshend continues to perform and record music to this day.
