Peter Benson was a British author best known for his novels set in the Yorkshire Dales including "The Farm" and "A Lesser Dependency". He wrote over 13 novels, short stories, and collections during his career and was highly regarded for his unique voice in depicting rural life in Britain. Benson passed away in 2011.
