Peter Hedges is an American novelist, playwright, and screenwriter. He is known for his novels "Dan in Real Life" and "The Heights", as well as his screenplays for "About a Boy", "Little Miss Sunshine", and "The Odd Life of Timothy Green". Hedges has also worked as a director, including for the film "Pieces of April".
