Pina Bausch
Pina Bausch (1940-2009) was a German choreographer and dancer known for pioneering the Tanztheater ('dance-theatre') style. Her works blended movement, sound, and design elements to create emotionally charged theatrical experiences. Some of her notable pieces include "Cafe Müller" and "The Rite of Spring." She was the artistic director of the Tanztheater Wuppertal for over three decades.
