Ray Bolger (January 10, 1904 – January 15, 1987) was an American actor, singer, and dancer best known for his role as the Scarecrow in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. He also starred on Broadway in shows such as On Your Toes and Where's Charley? Bolger received an honorary Academy Award in 1982.
