Ray Teal (1902-1976) was an American actor known for his commanding presence and deep voice. He appeared in numerous films and television shows from the 1930s to the 1970s, often playing authority figures such as law enforcement officers and military commanders. He is perhaps best remembered for his role as Sheriff Roy Coffee in the TV series Bonanza.
