Raymond Massey was a Canadian actor who appeared in over 100 films during his career, including "East of Eden" and "The Old Man and the Sea." He was known for his deep, commanding voice and his ability to portray strong, stoic characters. Massey also had a successful stage career, including a Tony Award-winning performance in "Abe Lincoln in Illinois." He died in 1983 at the age of 86.
