Rick Hall (January 31, 1932 – January 2, 2018) was an American record producer, songwriter, and music hall of fame member. He was the founder of FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, where he produced hits for legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, and Wilson Pickett.
