Rob Lowe is an American actor and director. He gained fame in the 1980s with roles in films such as The Outsiders, St. Elmo's Fire, and About Last Night. In recent years, he has appeared in TV shows such as Parks and Recreation and 9-1-1: Lone Star. Lowe has also authored several books, including a memoir titled Stories I Only Tell My Friends.
