Rob Stewart (1961-2017) was a Canadian environmental activist, filmmaker, and photographer. He was best known for his award-winning documentaries, Sharkwater and Revolution, which aimed to raise awareness about the importance of ocean conservation and the negative impact of human activities on marine ecosystems. Stewart passed away in a diving accident while filming his third documentary, Sharkwater Extinction.
