Robert Armstrong (1890-1973) was an American actor best known for his role as Carl Denham in the classic film "King Kong" (1933). He appeared in over 200 films, including several other adventure and horror movies. His other notable roles include Spider Webb in "The Racket" (1928) and Dan McCormick in "Only Angels Have Wings" (1939).
