Robert Earl Jones was an American actor who was born in Mississippi in 1910. He appeared in several films and television shows throughout his career, including roles in "The Sting" and "Trading Places." He is perhaps best known as the father of famous actor James Earl Jones. Robert Earl Jones passed away in 2006 at the age of 96.
