Robert Nichols

Robert Nichols (1893-1944) was a British poet, playwright and author. He served in World War I and his experiences in the trenches greatly influenced his writing. He is best known for his poetry collections and his play "The Recruiting Officer". He died at the age of 51 from leukemia.
