Robert Sterling

Robert Sterling was a Canadian mathematician who made significant contributions to the theory of partial differential equations. He was a professor at Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, and was awarded the Steele Prize for Lifetime Achievement by the American Mathematical Society in 2000.
