Rosie Perez is an American actress, director, and community activist. She began her career as a dancer on Soul Train and later gained recognition for her performances in films such as White Men Can't Jump, Fearless, and Birds of Prey. She also appeared on Broadway and co-hosted The View. Offstage, Perez advocates for Puerto Rican causes and AIDS awareness, and founded the Urban Arts Partnership in New York City.
