S. V. Ranga Rao was a popular Indian actor known for his performances in Telugu and Tamil cinema. He appeared in over 300 films in a career spanning four decades, and was widely regarded for his work in mythological roles. He also worked as a screenwriter and film director. He passed away in 1974 at the age of 59.
