Serafima Birman (1900-1942) was a Russian poet and translator. She translated works by Shakespeare, Keats, and T.S. Eliot into Russian, and her own poetry often dealt with themes of love and nature. Birman was arrested by Soviet authorities in 1937 and executed in 1942 during Stalin's purges.
