Solveig Dommartin was a German actress and artist born on May 16, 1961. She is best known for her roles in Wim Wenders' films, "Wings of Desire" and "Until the End of the World". Dommartin also worked as a screenwriter and director, and was an accomplished aerial performer. She passed away on January 11, 2007, at the age of 45.
