Spencer Williams

Spencer Williams was an African-American actor, writer, and director. He is best known for his role as Andy in the 1950s television show "The Amos 'n' Andy Show" and for directing the 1941 film "The Blood of Jesus." Williams often portrayed stereotypical black characters in Hollywood films but also used his platform to address issues faced by the Black community.
