Stanley Ridges (1890-1951) was an accomplished American character actor known for his versatile performances in films, stage productions and television shows. He appeared in over 80 films during his career, including key roles in "Of Human Bondage," "Sergeant York," and "Watch on the Rhine." Ridges died in 1951 at the age of 61.
