Stubby Kaye was an American comic actor and singer, best known for his roles in the musicals Guys and Dolls and Li'l Abner. He also appeared in films such as Cat Ballou and Sweet Charity. Kaye's trademark was his large, rotund figure and his signature gravelly voice. He died in 1997, aged 79.
