Susan Hayward was an American actress who appeared in more than 50 films and won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in "I Want to Live!" She was known for her strong-willed and emotionally charged performances in films such as "Smash-Up, the Story of a Woman" and "With a Song in My Heart." She passed away in 1975 at the age of 57.
