Syd Chaplin was a British actor and comedian who gained popularity during the silent film era. He was the half-brother of the legendary actor Charlie Chaplin and appeared in over 80 films throughout his career, including "A Submarine Pirate" and "The Better 'Ole". He retired from acting in the 1930s and passed away in 1965.
