Taylor Holmes (May 16, 1878 – September 30, 1959) was an American actor, who appeared in over 100 films between 1917 and 1953. He played the role of the German Ambassador in the 1939 film, 'Confessions of a Nazi Spy', for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
