The Edge
The Edge, real name David Howell Evans, is a musician and songwriter best known as the lead guitarist for the Irish rock band U2. He has been in the band since its formation in 1976 and has contributed to their success with his distinct guitar sound and innovative use of effects. The Edge has also worked on several solo projects and collaborations outside of U2.
