The Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace, was a rapper and hip-hop icon who rose to fame in the mid-1990s. He grew up in Brooklyn and began rapping as a teenager. His debut album, "Ready to Die," was released in 1994 and quickly became a classic. He was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles in 1997.
