Tom Brokaw is an American journalist and author. He served as anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News from 1982 to 2004, and has since appeared as a special correspondent for NBC News. Brokaw has won numerous awards for his journalism, including two Peabody Awards and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
