Tony Hancock was a British comedian and actor who rose to fame in the 1950s and 1960s. He starred in his own television and radio shows, as well as several popular films. His comedy was known for its dry wit and satirical commentary on British society. However, he struggled with alcoholism and depression throughout his career and tragically died by suicide in 1968.
