Tony Mabesa was a highly respected Filipino actor, director, and teacher who worked in theater, film, and television. He founded the respected theater company Dulaang UP and was also known for his work in classic Filipino films such as Maynila sa Mga Kuko ng Liwanag. Mabesa passed away in 2018 at the age of 84.
