Val Avery was an American character actor who appeared in many films and television shows from the 1950s to the 1990s. He was known for playing tough guys and gangsters in films such as The Magnificent Seven, The Amityville Horror, and Donnie Brasco. Avery passed away in 2009 at the age of 85.
