Walter Abel (1898-1987) was an American actor known for his work in theater, film, and television. He appeared in over 80 films, including "The Three Musketeers" (1939) and "The Lady from Shanghai" (1947), and had a long and successful career on Broadway. Abel was also a founding member of the Actors Studio in New York City.
