Walter Mercado was a Puerto Rican astrologer and television personality known for his flamboyant style, gender nonconforming appearance, and inspirational messages of love and positivity. He gained a large following throughout Latin America and the United States, and was regarded as an icon in the LGBTQ community. Mercado passed away in November 2019 at the age of 87.
