William Boyd is a British novelist and screenwriter born in Ghana in 1952. He studied at three universities before establishing a career as a writer. His works include "An Ice-Cream War," "Restless," and "Any Human Heart," which was adapted into a successful TV series. Boyd has been awarded multiple literary prizes throughout his career.
