William Peter Blatty
William Peter Blatty was an American writer and filmmaker. He became famous for his horror novel 'The Exorcist', which was later turned into a greatly successful film adaptation. Blatty was also a producer, screenwriter, and director known for 'The Ninth Configuration', 'Exorcist III', and 'The Exorcist TV series.' He passed away in 2017 at the age of 89.
