Hugh Laurie is a British actor, comedian, musician, and author. He is best known for his role as Dr. Gregory House on the Fox medical drama series "House", which earned him two Golden Globe awards and several Emmy nominations. Laurie is also a successful musician and has released several albums showcasing his piano and singing skills. He has authored three novels and has been active in various philanthropic efforts.
